"Happiness does not depend on what you have or who you are. It solely relies on what you think." -BuddhaI  shared this on my Facebook Timeline yesterday and would like to share it with all of my ActiveRain friends today. 2020 has been a rough year, rougher for some than others! We don't know what this new year holds but I do know we have control over our own thought process and how we react to our circumstances. Today I'd like to look toward the new year and wish you all: 1) Health... the greatest "wealth" of all, 2) Strength... the strength needed to weather the tough times, 3) Wisdom... the wisdom to make good decisions through the ups and downs of this thing called "life", 4) Perspective... the perspective to count your blessings even when the chips are down. ZOOM-califragilisticexpialidocious - JANUARY 2021 ActiveRain Challenge Jeff Dowler, CRS   and I are very excited to present ActiveRain’s FIRST Challenge of 2021! The challenge is to enlist members to share our ZOOM excitement with other members who may not know how amazing this group is!  One of the comments at our last ‘It’s a Wrap’ meeting for 2020 was that the breadth of topics was impressive. Another, that the social value of these ZOOM meetings has done so much for each of us.  Why not share our enthusiasm with the masses? So, this month’s challenge will be to hold the hand of a member (OR YOU) who has not been an active part of our ZOOM calls, getting them (or you!) to attend one of or more of our calls during the month of January. We are hopeful that this month’s involvement will...

As the name implies, custom packaging is the art of designing custom-crafted packaging around your products with your company logo, dimensions, colors, and package size. This ensures that your products stand out well versus your competitors' products and represent your product with a powerful branding message. It represents your services or products visually appealing to the consumers that result in trust and high sales. In the current competitive world, businesses consider having custom packaging rather than choosing a ready-made packaging that grabs less attention of the end consumer while standing on the shelf. When it comes to packaging, custom packaging plays a significant role in various business industries, ranging from medical, personal care, pharmacy, foods and drinks, and much...

Happy 2021  May The New Year Bring A Return to NormalcyAs we usher in the first day of 2021 no one will feel sad to see 2020 depart and hopefully the wishes for a return to normalcy sooner rather than later. Such may not be the case and if thoughts are carried forward we may well see a mandated shut down of our daily lives for s much as 6 weeks.  The intent being to stop the spread and let those that have become infected heal and not infect others.  Only time will tell.Looking ahead, with optimism, I wishing nothing but good for those in my sphere:Good Health;   Happiness;  A prolific Business with no negativity;  Unbridled Enthusiasm;  and a speedy break away from all the misery of the past year. With effort there should follow success and success can be contagious.Happy New YearHappy 2...

As the economy recovers from this years health crisis, the housing market is playing a leading role in the turnaround. Its safe to say that what we call home is taking on a new meaning, causing many of us to consider buying or selling sooner rather than later. Housing, therefore, has thrived in an otherwise down year.Todays high buyer demand combined with low housing inventory means were seeing home prices appreciate at an above-average pace. This demand is being driven by those who want to take advantage of historically low mortgage rates. According to Freddie Mac:“The record low mortgage rate environment is providing tangible support to the economy at a critical time, as housing continues to propel growth.”These factors are driving a positive impact on the economy as a whole. Accordin...

My friend Raymond Henson, SRES, GRI really knows how to make a tasty drink and this is a wonderful story about how he and his beautiful wife Mary Margaret met.      Our family toasted in the New Year a little early yesterday evening with a Golden Cadillac.  It is a cocktail made world famous at Poor Red's in the town of El Dorado, CA. It is served in a champagne glass with a larger glass of it on the side, like milkshakes are served.  It is a tasty drink and reminds me of a story.  Actually, the story of how I met my wife.      Many years ago, in a galaxy far away...sorry, I got carried away.  Circa 1987, my best friend's dad, Jerry, was at a show in Reno. These three girls walked up to him and asked if they could sit at his table because there were no other tables available.  Now Jerry...
