My Top Real Estate Articles in 2019 (Part 1)Is it vogue to create a top real estate articles in 2019 list? I have no idea but I have certainly been busy creating content that not only appeals to a wide array of real estate consumers but that has also kept the phone ringing with potential clients as well. This catch-up article provides plenty of links to long-form content that should appeal to buyers, investors, sellers, and home improvement enthusiasts as well.A goal this year was to consistently produce longer articles (2K words or more) to give anyone reading the content as much data and information as they could handle. HA. There were many more hits than misses so I am very happy with the overall results.  Here are 11 of my top real estate articles in 2019. I hope you enjoy each of t...

Here I am on the first day of 2020 hammering away at the laptop, but not until I accomplished many tasks today. My first thought as I pound away is “how will I make 2020 the year that “roars” for us?” I hope “you’ve” thought about that question. Maybe the word “roar” is not of interest to you. Everyone works at their own pace and level. Anyone can accomplish whatever is needed. Is it needed is the question? Did the Patriots lose because subconsciously they knew they were in the post season games? That win wasn’t “needed,” but it would have been a win that helped them with “rest and practice” from a “bye week.”If you have the desire, let the “lion in you roar.” Be aware of what others who have business are doing, and make a decision on whether to follow that path. It’s always a risk, if ...

What changes did you make last year or the year before that worked? An Active Rain Contest to jump start your year! Every year we strive to become a better version of ourselves.  Usually in January we take stock and make promises how we will change our daily lives in our business and in our personal lives. This cycle is repeated year after year. Some people call it “New Year’s Resolutions” others just call it’ behavior modification’. I always smile at people who promise to lose weight, start exercising and others promise to  market and do things differently in their business. Some people call it ‘Goal Setting’. Then a few days after the New Year they go back to their old ways of doing things.  I find that these rituals are all intended and are done with the purpose to transform our live...

A bag of goodies in 2020...  2020 YEA! I've been dreaming of 2020 and have my site on things that will happen this year and it's exciting. In fact I'm smiling right now thinking about it all!  Thanks to Endre Barath, Jr. for suggesting and hosting the January contest with exactly what I've been thinking about.....What changes did you make last year or the year before that worked? Notice that he's asking for what actually works for each of us! I know exactly what works and has worked for me and am happy to share it.  It may sound a big odd to some and that's fine, it works for me and that's what really counts.   I see life and business as one in the same and have for many years. How I show up in life is how I show up in business. Happy. It's that simple for me.  I was quite fortunate to...

In this month's contestWhat changes did you make last year or the year before that worked...is a contest hosted by Endre Barath, Jr. and will encourage us all to look at what was successful in the past two years. He is not asking for what we plan to do or to make New Year's resolutions. Most of those are already broken by the first couple of days in the new year.   That old saying "if it's not broke, don't fix it" means continuing the tried and true.If it works, do more of it!The things that have worked for me remain the same, and they are my consistency with advertising, my blogging, my weekly radio show, and tying them all together. Using blogging as topics on the show, and using my material from the show in my blogging, is efficient. Each week I have a talking list for the show beca...

What I Learned This Week at ActiveRain-December 29 to January 4, 2020 I learn something new every day at ActiveRain! With this series, I try to highlight one post per day that gave me that lightbulb moment. It could be something techie, something about Real Estate or the other professions that I never knew, about a place, or about a person. Or, it could be a post that made me sit up and take notice!  December 29: Ron and Alexandra Seigel Not So Speechless Sunday: Reflections of the Deer Valley Scene!Look closely and enjoy the detail in this photo.  December 30: Grant Schneider    Is It a Resolution or Is It Real?Love Grant’s analogy!!!  Why is important.   December 31: Mike Cooper The New Year is a Good Time to Start OverMike's post is certainly inspirational especially if you're facing...

We are both extremely passionate about learning something new every single day of our life.  It is a way to expand our perspective and enjoy the world we live in that much more. Yesterday, we took an hour and a half tutorial at the Apple Store in order to learn more about the 11 Pro, which I recently bought by trading in my 10X.   The class was called video walk:  how to create cinematic effects.    Our trainer was superb.  We walked out of the store with Gimbals in hand (courtesy of Apple).  This is  exactly what our AR video Guru, Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD recommends for added stability when shooting with an iPhone, or any other phone.  Our teacher suggested the historic Arcada building in Santa Barbara as a great video subject.  We shot 16 minutes worth of film, which w...

PERPLEXING OR ANXIOUS THOUGHTSPSALM 94:19 When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.ELLICOTT'S COMMENTARY “perplexing” or “anxious” thoughts BENSON COMMENTARY Thy promises, contained in thy word, and the remembrance of my former experience of thy care and kindness to me, afford me such consolation as revives my dejected mind. MATTHEW HENRY'S COMMENTARY That man is blessed, who, under the chastening of the Lord, is taught his will and his truths, from his holy word, and by the Holy Spirit. He should see mercy through his sufferings. There is a rest remaining for the people of God after the days of their adversity, which shall not last always. He that sends the trouble, will send the rest. The psalmist found succour and relief only in the Lord, when all earthly fri...

Nowadays, every business has two particular requests from an app developer company. The first one is related to what all they want from an app, and the second one is to make their mobile App a virtual equivalent of a Swiss-Army Knife so that it’s got something of everything. Between app developers and the marketing team, they know that it’s not the best idea. But the clients want what they want, right? There are plenty of expectations that clients have from app developers, and the reality is often, as it’s rightly said, disappointing straightforward. Here are some myths of app development busted once and for all. My Website is Mobile-Optimized, and I don’t need an App. Reality: The fact that you have a mobile-optimized website means that you need an app. To clear things up, mobile apps ...

Mobile storage containers are storage spaces where people can keep their stuff or things safely and securely outside their houses when they run out of space. Generally, portable storage containers are delivered to you at your doorstep and then picked up to be kept at a local warehouse or could be delivered to you and can be held at the place of your choice like in your driveway, in your garden or outside your house or to the site of your choice. Mobile storage containers have become a popular choice for people who move locally or to distant places to store their stuff. Many storage companies in the market offer storage containers of different sizes according to the client's requirement to move locally or across the country, covering more considerable distances. Working Concept of Mobile...

It is no secret that web application development is quite challenging, complex, and critical. However, when it comes to open-source Web Development Technologies, the picture is somewhat different. Yes, open-source web development technologies are rising like never before. They are not just the fad; they are like assets for developers, which empower them to do more as well as achieve more. Indeed, these technologies can make the work of developers much more comfortable and practical. Let us see the overall growth of open-source web development technologies: -  Developers have been using such technologies. Since the beginning, more and more developers have been using such technologies not only because they are free and easy to use, but also because they are highly versatile, flexible as w...

Zelda Sayre was born in Montgomery, Alabama back in 1917 to Anthony and Minerva. In her youth, she was interested in dancing, taking ballet lessons and enjoying the outdoors. She attended Sidney Lanier High School, but she was only interested in smoking, drinking and spending much of her time with boys. She once wore a tight, flesh-colored bathing suit fueling rumors that she swam nude.Beneath her high school photo was tow quotes made by her. “Why should all life be work, when we all can borrow?” “Let’s think only of today, and not worry about tomorrow.” She met her future husband Frances in 1918. In April of 1920, they were married in St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The couple had one son, but she was not the domestic housewife. She became a truly exceptional dancer practicing for up to eight...

"January 1st or today is the first blank page of your 365-page life book again. Write the best one. Start with a defining vision then build your compelling goals around it.  The past doesn't really matter anymore; what matters are what decisions and actions you will take right now, and every 'NOW' thereafter, which defines your future. So make every 'now' count. As the saying goes, if not for the mistakes we have made, we won't know what works from what doesn't. Remember that Thomas Alba Edison failed tens of thousands of times to perfect the light bulb only to say, "I have not failed. I've just found10,000 ways that won't work." This was borrowed from a colleague of mine to usher in the beginning of 2020. The only line I would change is "Write the best one." Instead, I will adopt 'Writ...

WISHING GOOD KARMA TO YOUUPBEAT FAMILY & FRIENDS ANDSPECIAL PEOPLE ALWAYS BY YOUR SIDE Patricia Feager, January 1, 2020 Happy New Year! May you encounter people of good will, people with peace in their hearts, and people with a good sense of humor who are honorable and trustworthy. 2020 is a time to make new footprints in the sand, snow, or the seasons in your life.  Conduct is always being observed through our writing, the way we communicate, our facial expressions, the tone of our voice, body movements, the way we look, and how we treat others. Business in sales is a lot like shuffling the cards. You never know what you're going to get. Always be honest when dealing with others. The power of knowledge means nothing if people don't like you or want to do business with you. There is n...
