(TOUCHSTONE REAL ESTATE)
It’s time for our annual Halloween Party and like in the past we like to have different themes.  Last year it was a pink party as October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month so we decided this year to try something different.  A Lip Sync Halloween Party, if you want and please know like every year costumes are optional, dress like one of your favorite entertainers or maybe a group of entertainers.  There are plenty of choices like Kiss, The Beatles or duets like Sonny and Cher and of course single acts like Madonna, Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash. How it works you let me know your song and I will have a monitor in front of you with the words, behind you on a 75” screen will be the words for everybody and expect you will get plenty of help from the crowd.  You don’t need to sing just move your...

The Labor Day Holiday is nearly upon us, and typically the real estate market picks back up and home sales are stronger.   Even over the holiday weekend. Listings have increased slightly since earlier this year, which is a good sign for Buyers.   In February & March, there were only around 4,000 listings for sale.   (A stable market would be 8,000-10,000 listings)   In May the listings jumped to around 5,000, and in mid-July we hit around 6,000 listings.    We are seeing around 6,500 listings now. Even though schools are back in session, there are Buyers out and wanting to find their Dream Home.    Some homes may last longer than a weekend, but it won't be months on the market!    The current days in MLS with the current active listings is 24 days, and that includes land to mega-mansion...

SEPTEMBER HAS ARRIVED... SUMMER IS ALMOST OVER... ENJOY THE LAST DAYS OF SUMMER!  “The tans will fade but the memories will last forever." ... Unknown   Are you wondering like I am where the summer has gone? It feels as if summer simply flew by this year. Someone (unknown) said “summer should get a speeding ticket.” I totally agree with this sentiment! Even in Charlotte, where we will still be seeing summer-like weather for some weeks to come, you can already see the early signs of autumn with brown leaves dropping off the trees. Plenty of those leaves on my  front lawn and more of them with each passing day.  “A fallen leaf is nothing more than a summer’s wave goodbye.”... Unknown  “Summer’s lease hath all too short a date.” ... William Shakespeare   As I look forward to the coming au...
