A Difficult Week for Dolores Kelley

If you follow me on Facebook, you already know that my wife, Dolores, lost her balance and fell at home last Sunday night. She could not get up and the situation was compounded when I passed out while trying to assist her. I called my sister, a nurse, for help and she accompanied Dolores in the ambulance to the hospital. I still have balance issues after my incident of vertigo that put me in the hospital at the end of November.

Dolores had hip replacement surgery on Tuesday. Last night, she was transferred from the hospital to ProMedica in Potomac, Maryland for rehabilitation. She will be there for physical therapy until she is able to walk.

I knew of the fall from fb but wasn't aware of you passing out. How terrifying for you both. I'm so sorry you are going through this and I wish you both a very speedy recovery. I hope Dolores is home soon!

I sure do hope the worst is behind Dolores and her rehab goes well. And, I hope your vertigo can be corrected. I've experienced that, and it can not only be annoying but dangerous. Sending prayers for you and Dolores.

Roy, you and Dolores have had one scary week and I hope she is doing well in rehab and on the road to recovery. I'm surprised that your vertigo has not resolved by now. I've had it several times over the years and know just how worrisome it is.
