ActiveRain allows new members to sign up as nonpaying members (Rainers) without a paid account but only getting limited services. That a good way that is to get your feet wet in the blogging world and to benefit from the knowledge that is shared each day by this terrific group of professionals. Some people stay in this status for years while others move to become Rainmakers so they can receive all the benefits of full membership. Either one is a great reason to love having choices and to be a part of the community.
