| Our family was asked to move from Kansas City to the Portland area for a job in the tech industry. As the parents of a four year old, we began looking for family friendly areas around the city which lead us straight to Camas, Washington. The charming videos of downtown Camas and Lacamas Lake that we found online had one thing in common, Debb Janes. Her sincere love for the area coupled with her professionalism helped us feel very comfortable with the decision to narrow our home search down to only one town, Camas. We worked with Debb and her husband, Bernie, to find a home that met every need on our list. Debb and Bernie exercised a great amount of patience with us as we navigated the waters of a cross country move. Our family would not have wanted to make this journey with anyone other than Debb and Bernie. After closing on our spectacular home we are left with a dream kitchen, beautiful views, a great school, and our first friends in Washington. Do a web search for “Above and beyond” and if their photos don’t pop up then the Internet is broken! The long story. Debb and Bernie worked with us for over 18 months to find the right house. Then when we found the right house and got our offer accepted they really blew our mind. First of all, Debb’s reputation allowed our offer to be accepted over multiple offers and kept us out of a bidding war. Then, when an unresolved lien was discovered during title discovery they tracked down the holder in rural Alaska days before he went on a Bush trip of undetermined length. They got the paperwork done and the deal only survived because of their diligence.
