What a great question: Where do the healthiest eating squirrels live? Los Angeles of course... Gloria Todor and I were bantering about this very subject just the other day. So, without further ado look at these pictures, let me know where I am going wrong?
Our backyard squirrels and I used to compete about our Tangerine crop. Now we are competing about the orange crop. The way I can tell our citrus is starting to get ripe is when I see the evidence our squirrels leave i.: the citrus peals.

First and most importantly rinse the cranberries under cold water and eliminate some of the damaged or tired looking berries.
1. I love to take 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 of freshly squeezed orange juice
2. One cup of ordinary sugar ( like the crystal type)
3. 4 cups or fresh cranberries
4. I also like to add the zest of the oranges
My second step after rinsing the cranberries is to boil the liquid until the sugar is dissolved.

Seven years ago, when we moved into our home, Diane decided she wanted the wall separating us from the neighbors to be a 'Wall of Jasmine'. I was not going to argue with her. since as far as I was concerned the scent of jasmine is incredibly sensual, rich and sweet.
More poetically, jasmine could be described as intoxicating, exotic and intense. Now keep in mind I have a bad nose, but even I can smell Jasmine. All sales are important, but some sales are special. This listing was an Active Rain Referral! One seller was in Texas, the other seller was in Pennsylvania and the third seller was in Wisconsin.
Then to boot it was a Probate Sale with Court Confirmation. It was a roller coaster ride not because of the sellers or the buyers, but because of the Attorney representing the sellers. Diane and I have not ventured out during the Pandemic Shut Down, by the California Governor. In fairness to disclosure Diane has went out once to lunch with her Boss during the past six months. I chose not to and today was a special occasion. So not wanting to go to a super upscale five star restaurant, Diane chose one of our favorite low key down to earth place: The Blue Water Grill that we have been frequenting for too many years to mention.

Well I could not help myself, there was so much discussion about the missing June Blog Posts.
Today I had an easy day, just like everyone else. I was curious how many blog posts did I lose during the month of June? Amazingly enough it is very easy to find out and you can find out too. Just follow the two steps I outlined here below.

One of our neighbors usually brings us Chocolate Chipped Cookies around Christmas Time and they know how much we love them. Well today the doorbell was ringing. Holly started barking and Diane and I both went : Who the Hell is at the door that Holly is making such a fuss. Well it turned out out Neighbor Pat baked some Chocolate Chipped Cookies and they were still warm. Fresh from the oven, how about that, no request no communication just wanted us to be pleasantly surprised.

Well by popular demand Kathy Streib and Michael Jacobs I am going to post my Mother's French Salad Recipe. Now keep in mind I have been making this for decades and most people who tasted it wanted the Recipe. I have printed it out, many times and there were others who modified or copied it to the letter. I had nothing to do with it, I suspect because Berkshire Hathaway has an arrangement with ADWERX every time I have a new listing ADWERX pushed the listings out. On the other hand to see my face must have been the benefit of having 17 listings and ADWERX thought it was time to push my name out too?
