FHFA Home Price Index July Of 2023

On September 26, 2023, The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) announced that the U.S. house price rose 0.8% in July of 2023 from June of 2023, and higher 4.6% from July of 2022, based on home sales values obtained from mortgages sold to or guaranteed by FNMA and Freddie Mac.

Nationwide, among nine census Middle Atlantic and South Atlantic Divisions were highest with an increase of 1.4%, and East South Central Division had lowest up 0.1% in July of 2023 from June of 2023; while New England Division had the highest jump of 8.1%, and Mountain Division was lowest with a gain of 0.3% in July of 2023, from July of 2022.

John my first home I purchased was with FHA because the VA loan was not as good at the FHA, glad to see poor people still have this option available to them, like I had when I bought my first home, Endre

Hello Endre Barath, Jr. good to know you purchased your first home with FHA because the VA loan was not as good at the FHA. I agree, glad to see people still have this option available to them, like when your bought your first home. FHFA loans are good for many borrowers not only for poor people. Thanks for the comment.
