Friday Flags in Prospect CT 06712-2

The center of Prospect CT is the intersection of 2 state roads. Each of the corners has a significant edifice to attract attention.

Along one side of the roadway sits the town hall and it's ever-present American flag and also a flag for MIA servicemen.

It has an access roadway that allows people looking to turn north on Rt 69 to not need the lights at the major intersection and just have a stop sign.

Over the years, there have been all types of flowers planted there and as the area is so busy, they do not fare well. The corner now has a blaze of color that catches the eye and is impervious to the elements.
