You bet! Mine is attached to my house though so, I have to use the black Mourning Ribbon on days we are to fly the flag at half-staff.

One of these days I will have someone install a flagpole like you have for me down by the lake. A couple of my neighbors are USAFA grads who have them and they look so nice reflecting on the water.

My flag is always flying. I do not have the ability to lower it. 

911 will never be forgotten just like so many other things that have happened in and to America since that day, will also not be forgotten. The terrorists live among us.  Some live in lavish houses.  I will leave it at that. 

I am a huge supporter of Tunnel to Towers.  Every. Single. Time. I see an advertisement for that organization. I tear up. Every. Single. Time. 

It is not just the fallen heroes, it is the families they leave behind. 

AND, YES, all of the INNOCENT lives on 911 - unthinkable and yet not forgetable at the same time.

We are in a condo so don't have a way to fly the flag but there is a large flag at the main driveway as you enter the complex. I will check if it is at half mast.

I posted a blog about the events of September 11th this morning asking where people were when they heard the news. It's an annual tribute that I do so that day is never forgotten.

Rest in peace to the many innocent men, women, and children who died on this day.  And, salute to the firemen, rescuers, and police officers in New York City who performed their jobs with valor.

 

As for the people who carried out these well-planned attacks, and how WTC Building 7 collapsed, we can talk about that later.

Our flag was shredded during high winds last week and needs replaced, otherwise, it would be at half-mast, as in the past, Bob. The enormity of the horrific events  on 9/11 is forever etched in our memory and my heart continues to break for those lives lost and the families that had to go on without them!
