Gaithersburg Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report The City’s draft Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023 is now available for review. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) recipients to report on the use of the funds and to make that report available to the community prior to submission to HUD. The City will accept comments until September 24. Winter Lights Beneficiaries Now in its 28th season, the Gaithersburg Winter Lights Festival has become a much-anticipated holiday tradition for families in the Washington area. A portion of the revenue from the Festival benefits charities that help hundreds of people in the Gaithersburg community. In anticipation of the 2023 event, qualified nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations are invited to apply now for beneficiary status. The application deadline is Friday, October 6. One thing for sure we have plenty of dining choices in The Villages, Florida.  What I like are then dining choices a 5-minute golf cart ride from my home and we have plenty of them.  The Tierra Del Sol Bar & Grill is one of them only 1.2 miles away.  One of the great things about The Villages is the country clubs have restaurants and bars and are mostly tucked away in neighborhoods.  Golf course living is important in The Villages as homes line the courses.  Where there are golf courses there are country clubs and where there are country clubs there are bars and restaurants.Love this are of The Villages with it’s mature landscaping tall oak trees and a little bit of rolling hills.  The championship course and a nearby executive course make it a great place for a cold beverage after fini... 09/13/2023
