"The Tiger Walk at Auburn University is one of the most imitated traditions in all of college sports. Each gameday, the Tigers walk from the Athletics Complex down Donahue Drive to Jordan-Hare Stadium. But the team doesn't make the walk alone; they are cheered on by the thousands of Auburn fans who line the street and, in the process, create one of the great scenes in college football. The walk begins two hours before each game. The tradition began in the 1960s when groups of kids would walk up the street to greet the team and get autographs. It has grown to become one of the most treasured of Auburn traditions."For more information on what to expect at Auburn University football games please click here.Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Preferred Real Estate, Best Auburn Realtors, Best Opel...

Over the last couple of week, it has been dipping into the 40's at night, and noticed this tree changing leaves already.    This is in my neighborhood, and was a bit shocked to see it.    This is a bit early to see leaves changing in Denver, as this is the time for the trees to change in the mountains, not down here!I am wondering if it is changing due to being such a young tree.   None of the other trees are changing quite yet.   Looks like Fall is right around the corner!

For the last two weeks the headlines on our local Philadelphia radio and TV stations have been about Danilo Cavalcante, the escaped murderer from a nearby Chester County prison. From what I’ve heard, people have been captivated by this around the country and the world.Delaware County borders Chester County PA where all of this unfolded. We first found out about it when we heard that Longwood Gardens was closed and we happened to be talking to friends who live in the retirement community, Kendal, that borders Longwood. Our friends received text alerts to Shelter in Place once it was known he had escaped.I did not know there was a prison north of Longwood and Kendal.  There is a lot of open land with trees around there. Longwood was a prime place to hide out.Once Cavalcante found a milk tr...

I was given this card with three different views of First National Bank in Searcy AR.  The 1904 view is SO different.  Correct me if I am wrong but I have been told that it was located at the corner of Arch and Spruce at that time and it burned.  In this picture it looks as if it was very fancy and perhaps had the entrance on the corner.  I'd like to see a very clear picture of it at that time.In 1954, it seems much simpler and was in a different location. I believe it was then at the corner of Spruce and Race.  Then it shows the 1994 view.  The name has changed several times.  We no longer have a First National Bank in Searcy and the 1994 view is nearest to today's view!

One of the things I get into here in The Villages, Florida is helping people find an estate sale company.  Many times, folks are moving on to a new chapter in their life whether it’s moving into independent living or the loss of a spouse and returning to what was home before moving here to be close to family.  Sometimes they hand me the keys as a family member is here helping them pack up what they are taking with them.  If they let it up to me my first call is to Eagle Estate Sales who I have worked with helping clients who are moving on to their next chapter.I have one going on this week for a client who loss her husband and the family has already been here and helped her pack to return to what was home before.  It is sad seeing what was important to somebody now stacked on tables and...
