Motivational Monday - Want to Motivate Yourself? What Sets YOUR Soul on Fire?
Today's Motivational Monday was inspired by Michael Jordan's quote this weekend,
“I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying.”
Many of our most successful business leaders - not only in real estate but, across the board - will tell you that they are most inspired by someone telling them that they cannot do something. Not giving up (tenacity) is one of those inner-most motivators that many successful people possess. As well, being too afraid to 'try' is not something successful business leaders experience either.
I often revere those who are motivated by the drive for the highest of standards - doing the right thing, integrity and being excellent in every way. Branding oneself as trustworthy and resourceful from start to finish is so very important to one's self-fulfillment, in business and in life. However, having a drive that is visible & palpable to those around, is nothing short of contagious! Who doesn't enjoy watching in awe, one who has a fire burning so brilliantly in his/her soul, we want to cheer for their successes?!
Dominant business leaders recognize and believe that failure is inevitable in order to succeed. Plotting a process of recovery with each failure and following through with that, is what builds true strength and character and builds upon ones brand of excellence.
Viewing failure and recovery as one of life’s challenges - not a threat, not a negative - is something in which those leaders with the propensity for not giving up, excel. I am confident you have watched that fire burning within those leaders!
When you’re feeling defeated or have recently suffered from inevitable failure in business, remember, take a step back, take a deep breath and through the mind fog, light your soul on fire!
Remember:
What sets YOUR soul afire?
