With deadlines to meet among the details of transactions in progress, there's no excuse to let phone calls, text messages and emails go unanswered. Avoid allowing common courtesy to go by the wayside in business.
Have you ever received a referral opportunity because another agent was just 'too busy' to get back to serious buyers or an anxious home seller who was ready to go? Anyone who knows me, understands that go-mode means NO TIME is wasted when it comes to achieving a clients sales goals.
For buyers:
Plans to meet with them, look at properties that may suit their search criteria and to always be available when necessary. Reaching their real estate goals is crucial for them and ultra-important, with no wasted time.
For sellers:
Setting an appointment to discuss specific details, such as timeline to list, price range, advice on decluttering or making visible repairs to be made to garner more money plus adding some curb appeal if necessary.
Busy work takes time, especially ensuring details are correct in all real estate transactions. If client traffic flow decreases because you cannot find the time to provide adequate service, my advice is to get back to the basics or hire someone to manage the paperwork side while you create business.
Gardening requires a sincere, daily commitment during growing season. No excuses for lazy standards or skipping maintenance because of poor time management. Success depends on consistent methods.
