As everyone is aware we have our share of problems with insurance in California, but I was surprised at how insurance companies in their effort to get out of California, are actually cancelling good customers. Here is a perspective from an insurance broker I spoke to recently! And some good advice on what not to do!

When I came to Keller Williams Realty, years ago, I was lucky enough to meet Mo Anderson at a couple of events. She is an amazing woman with an amazing story. Each year since I was 17 I have gone on vacation in the summer to Santa Cruz. It started with going with my future inlaws and then once my husband and I got married, we decided to make this a yearly tradition with our children. Our daughters have gone each summer of their lives, one is now 40 and the other 32! And we now take our grandchildren with us. It's the best week of the year for me always!

Definitely my favorite blog in the Sacramento area is by appraiser, Ryan Lundquist. It's called Sacramento Appraisal Blog.
At all times it's important for Realtors to stay up to date on the market, but especially when times are changing such as now. I run stats myself weekly and I always have feelings about the market (after 35 years in real estate) but I love seeing or hearing another professional's opinion. Canva has got to be my favorite tool I use for creating content for social media posting as well as creating flyers, announcements, and our quarterly magazine.
Here are a couple of examples of the content we created using Canva for social media.
This first one is the cover for a series for an Instagram post.
And this one is the cover to one of our Quarterly magazines to our clients.

I am very proud of a couple of things that I have achieved in my real estate career..
I have made Sacramento Association of Realtors Master's club every year that I have sold real estate! My first year of real estate in 1987, I made Master's Club! This was a huge accomplishment in my first year. I became an Outstanding Life Member approximately 10 years later (I took 2 years off of real estate during this time). It has always meant a lot to me to be recognized as one of the top Realtors in the area.
