First day in Lisbon has been a bit of a blur, but got some sightseeing done.   Flew into Newark, then into Lisbon, so about 10 hours of flight time, and probably one hour of sleep.   I USED to be able to sleep on a plane.....Right now - 4:06 pm it is 73 degrees and 64% humidity.    There were some clouds and thought there could be some rain, but tomorrow the forecast says 94% rain most of the day.I got an Explore Lisbon ticket, so I could ride the bus all over the city.   After the drive here (traffic is horrendous), I wanted to leave the car in the garage.    Not sure what the brand of the car is, but it is a stick shift - and don't laugh, but could not figure out for quite a while how to get it into reverse.   (remember....no sleep)    Went down to the wharf, and saw a cruise ship, a ... 09/20/2023

Life of a Pet Friendly Realtor in Los Angeles..... well most of you who read my posts on a consistent basis, know we have two cats and a dog. So what do we do? Do not remember how many but certainly not as many posts as my trivia question series. As most of you know I spent some time at West Point, also known as the United States Military Academy, USMA at West Point New York. As a freshman aka Plebe, we had to sit at the Dining Hall when the movie Mac Arthur was made. I can still hear Gregory Peck saying the famous words of General Douglas MacArthur:...General Westmorland, General Groves, distinguished guests and gentlemen of the corps...As I was leaving the hotel this morning a doorman asked me "Where are you bound for General?" and when I replied, "West Point," he remarked, " Beautiful place, have you ever been there before?"Ironically, we needed to clap and laugh for the movie at this point... they had to take three takes, because we were not laughing hard enough, or we did not clap hard enough.Needless to say, it was easier ... 09/18/2023
