I do not know who started this or when they first named September 28 as ' Ask a Stupid Question Day.' I just read it in the carrier Pigeon , a monthly free magazine that I receive. Check out www.theuptightsuburbanite.com. It is interesting to see that they have something for each day of the month of September . Subscribe to my blog or follow me if you wish to be reminded of all the interesting holidays.
Gita-Ever notice how at meetings or seminars some speaker will say something along the lines of, "there are no stupid questions." Over the years I've found that statement to be incorrect, there are some stupid questions. Of course, there can be stupid answers to good questions too.

That's too funny. What a day to have. I'll make sure to ask my broker a bunch of stupid questions tomorrow. Maybe I can seem to appear ignorant on fair housing issues.
I hope you have a great week ahead, Gita.
No stupid questions hunh? One of my students once asked me if it was OK for him to go to a liberal arts college? He told me he came from a conservative family. I told him he then needed to study conservation and should go to a northern Michigan college..... Forestry might be a good choice.
Nancy, I have heard there are no stupid questions but have heard stupid quesions.
Hi Gita, I just read this blog. It's funny. I think I have to read the www.theuptightsuburbanite.com from time to time ... :)
