A month or so ago a family from the northeast called me about relocating to Keller, Texas. Fort Worth, Texas is poised and ready for the thousands of participants in the annual Cowtown Marathon. The races include of course the full marathon of 26.2 miles, the Half Marathon of 13.1 miles, the 10K race - of 6.2 miles and the 5K race of 3.1 miles.My husband and son joined participating in the race with me. It was a cold, wet morning to begin the race but the rain stopped early on. Thousands of people descended upon the streets of Fort Worth. But while national builders have been active in the recent past, large land tracks are no longer available, curtailing large new additions like Southlake Meadows and Winding Creek. I am an old soul and seeing homes like these that do need updates, but still have some of their original details, like the knobs and the agate flooring just make me happy. I visited this coffee shop for a meeting with a colleague and was pleasantly surprised. The coffee is delicious and I loved the decor.
