The Dawn of a New Day on Vacation
As I get older, my tolerances for the cold New England weather get lesser each year. To get a reprieve, we take a February vacation as it is typically a slower time for business up north and the southern climes are more agreeable.
Time to head back to the chill, but hopefully it won't be too bad, in spite of what that groundhog said last month.
I got up early to take a few shots of the beach on Hilton Head Island, SC.
The pool is empty and for all but the maintenance people doing their job to make it cleaner.
The dunes are empty, and the few wisps of grass are starting their wave to the morning sun.
The beach is empty for miles, but people are starting to make their way to the shore to see the sun come up as well.
The sun is making its push through the cloud cover and with the brilliance of that color, it promises to be a good day.
And it's done. It will be a good day but got to get that second cup of coffee nd then hit the tee for 8:30.
I will make my best efforts to get back here next year.
