Tuesday is Choose Day. Today I choose to navigate through life towards happiness. Some people may think money leads to good fortune and good fortune leads to happiness. While the tides can turn when money flows, there is no guarantee. There is a tide to every turn. A tide can wash us up high and dry leaving us in tears. How long does money and happiness last? Nobody knows. I learned early on that life holds no guarantees. Your life history requires a special kind of thinking. Challenges and opportunities are part of life. When the sun sets in Flower Mound, there's an afterglow effect that paints the Town softly. This photo was taken Sunday evening around 8:00 p.m. I was facing Timber Creek Elementary School and just pulled over to enjoy the peaceful view.  Tiger Field in Flower Mound where the children play baseball was quite peaceful in the afterglow. I'm sure the children were beginning to settle in for the night. The street's nightlight left a nice glow while the white puffy cloud passed by slowly.  I liked how this light post cast a golden arch across Timber Creek Road while in the distance the moon on September 24th was in the Waxing Gibbous phase just above more clouds.   This year, Beautiful Beckett has taken up softball, proudly sporting jersey #6 as a member of the Lilac Attack team, which consists of 4th graders. Her passion for sports led her to give this new endeavor a shot. Yesterday, I attended both Hudson's Pop Warner football game and Beckett's softball game, going from Lake Travis High to Central Austin to make sure I didn't miss a moment. Beckett displayed some impressive skills on the field, ending in a thrilling base hit that had everyone in attendance, including her big brother, enthusiastically cheering her on.
