Throwback Thursday's: memories can get foggy at times... I had a great conversation with one of my Active Rain Friends today.We reminisced about the days we saw each other in Boston... after I hung up the phone One Drive was sending me photos.Ironically, I could not remember the year or the month we got together. We were talking about our friend Grant Schneider  and his wife. Sadly, he is looking down at me as I write this post. Hope Phillis is doing OK since he was her care giver as far as we could remember.It was around 2018 or so and the photos did not show us with Grant Schneider  or George Souto  or Debe Maxwell, CRS  to name a few. The lightbulb burned out on my Ceiling Fan....easy fix... Not! Well first I needed to take off the cover. Thank you to Mr. Google, I managed to take off the cover. Yes, nine years is a good run for the light bulb.Now look at this light bulb.... off we go to Home Depot.... then back home... Go figure that did not fix the problem. BTW this is not what I was expecting when I took the cover off.Well maybe it is the remote-control battery.... go figure I take the remote control apart and it falls apart.... Back to Home Depot. clearly, they do not have that type anymore.A new universal remote control is invested into the project. Unfortunately, you need an electrician to replace the old contact with the new contact. So a simple lightbulb replacement will turn out to be a bigger project. Now w... 09/23/2023

Throwback Thursdays: look at these two moments... the photos reminded me of some great moments.In 2014 I listed a home in Bel Air, CA in the 90077 zip code, the sellers were my previous buyers. Long story short the new buyers bought the home with a different agent. Two years ago they reached out to me and we searched and were patient and this year they bought their new home with me. It is a long story, and I will just leave it at that.Now go figure a year before that Diane and I were sitting enjoying lunch somewhere in Los Angeles. She loved the food. Clearly it did not leave me with a memory as to where we had lunch. Wordless Wednesdays: easy dinner tonight... as I was making dinner, Diane was giving me the side eye are you going to put this over something? Meaning the mushrooms and the shrimp. Life of a Pet Friendly Realtor in Los Angeles..... well most of you who read my posts on a consistent basis, know we have two cats and a dog. So what do we do? Basically nothing:) I go grocery shopping, cook some fantastic meals.Diane coordinates Vet appointments and cleans up after the cats and the dog.Life is simple here; we listen to classical music to keep the monsters calm and in between there I sell properties in the greater Los Angeles area.Once in a while we have guests, since the pandemic this has been fewer and fewer. Speechless Sunday: Which photos do you like better? Just as a background the other day I spent about 4.5 hours at Verizon transferring my Samsung Galixy7 data to my new Samsung Galaxy S23 phone. Well, that is another post to be covered later.One of the new features of the S23 is that there are food foto features. Having the right tools is critical not just in real estate but in cooking as well.... Tonight's meal was interrupted with a few technical issues, nothing that I could not overcome thanks to having the right tools.Well, the Pizza Stone cracked in the middle of my baking.... Keep in mind my meal was inspired by Debe Maxwell, CRS  about the Maryland Cauliflower Crabcake Pizza Recipe. Since Diane loves Crabcakes from Maryland thought this would be a great way to finish up her birthday vacation.
