This month Margaret Rome Baltimore 410-530-2400 and John Meussner challenged us to explain what makes us exceptional Realtors®.
The term “exceptional” refers to something that surpasses the norm, particularly in terms of skill, intelligence, and quality.
I am committed to delivering outstanding service that goes beyond expectations. To achieve this, successful agents typically possess the following key qualities:
u Willingness to delay gratification
u Ability to tolerate conflict
u Strong focus and concentration
u Balanced and judicious courage
u Control over their egos
u Perpetual dissatisfaction, always striving for improvement
u Ability to identify and rectify broken processes
u Sense of accountability
u Strong marketing skills
u Skill in neutralizing toxic individuals
I possess these traits. With 31 years of experience in the real estate industry, I have built a solid reputation and a loyal client base.
Maintaining contact with past clients and friends is crucial for ensuring repeat business. Surprisingly, according to NAR; 91% of Realtors® fail to stay connected with their previous clients. Only 9% contact their buyer or seller after closing! I fall into that 9%! I prioritize effective marketing and stay “top of mind” in the community I serve, and with my past clients, which makes me stand out as the trusted resource.
So, how do I consistently keep my pipeline full? I employ the following strategies:
u Blogging to engage and inform my audience
u Mailing out monthly, quarterly and year end market reports to my target community
u Active involvement in sponsoring community events
While these activities may not guarantee success all the time, they have proven to be effective in keeping my pipeline consistently full. Although I cannot quantify the exact number of readers for my blog posts, or my mail outs, I receive enough inquiries and requests from individuals who seek my expertise when they are ready to sell their homes or make a home purchase. This tells me my time, and energy is worth the effort.
My recognition and visibility in the community stem from these marketing endeavors, which contribute to the stability and continuous growth of my business. It's what keeps my pipeline endlessly replenished.
