That kind of sounds like many calls I would get about listings people saw on zillow that when I looked up sold many years ago but were still showing as active there, haha.

Good morning, Mike... I've had those calls on older posts but not from prospective buyers or sellers... usually it's someone asking about some local event that has long since passed.

I too, have had some random calls regarding posts that I had written years ago.

How interesting that I came across your post. I just had a post surface from 2016.  It needed to be updated with current stats.  I will post the more current version this week, BUT, I will leave the older updated post also. 

Mike, that is a great experience you had! Yes, I believe our blog posts show up long after they are posted. I have had a similar experience, and a Buyer connection and purchase from the post.

Love this post!  It reminds us that what we write may not be seen today, but it will at some point.  Key words are very important in our blogs, and how we place meta tags!  Good for you!

Congrats to you Mike!  I had someone call on a post he found from 2010.  It was so poorly written, but it was still out there!

That's a great story, Mike, and a good example of what can and does happen with our posts. You never know what can turn into opportunity!

Just a reminder that the Internet is forever and in this case, it was there as a positive for you.

I wish there was a way to track which of our previous blogs were still generating traffic.  It would be an amazing feature to be able to look at traffic counts of our blogs to see which ones are still getting the most views.

Update the Blog Post: If you have control over the blog post, update it to clearly indicate that the property has been sold. Add a notice at the beginning of the post or in a prominent location so that visitors are immediately aware of the property's status.
