Good morning, Thomas... I totally agree. Persistence pays off. I've met many a more talented or smarter person than me, who have accomplished way less than me because they didn't have staying power to keep powering through.

A sunny and hopefully much cooler good morning from NW AZ.  Yes those eyes. Our newest rescue has adopted a similar behavior.  Our older dog just knows when the time is right he will receive the leftovers.

Hello Thomas - Whiskey has done it again.  Persistance can play a powerful part.  Quickly thinking of my childhood - that's a wayback trip in the time machine too - and I can recall examples.  At play and in the performance of life.  Adolescence is not pretty - well, not for me.

OMG how could resist those eyes?? Whiskey is definitely a master negotiator!!! I've always felt talent get you started but it's persistence that carries you to greater heights.

Oh Thomas I so know those eyes!  Both Barney and Norman have perfected their persistence skills!!

I've seen SO many agents become licensed, then quit before they really get started - because success didn't happen for them within a month or two. 

And, I've seen the same thing with agents who started prospecting, then gave up after one of two letters. I tell them not to buy my letters and not to even start unless they're going to stick to it.

Maybe I should have my eyes surgically altered to look like begging dog eyes in order to secure the business that I am pursuing.
