What's up with California fire insurance?

As everyone is aware we have our share of problems with insurance in California, but I was surprised at how insurance companies in their effort to get out of California, are actually cancelling good customers.  Here is a perspective from an insurance broker I spoke to recently!  And some good advice on what not to do!

I don’t think it’s very cool that certain insurance companies don’t cover California anymore, but there are other options thank God.
