Speechless Sundays - Ain't No Mountain...

This sweet Gabby, who we have nicknamed, 'Little Bit' (she's all of 6 pounds!) is TOTAL personality! Nothing stops her from keeping up with her big sister, Maddie - nothing!


Of course, being 'raised' by kitties, Maddie has also taught Gabby the way of the cat - climbing on the backs of furniture and really, going anywhere she wants to go, including lounging on tabletops. Yes, I said tabletops, which is one habit that we work daily to overcome - for all genre - dogs AND cats alike!

So, being on the backs of couches & chairs is a battle we have let them win. I can only imagine the view from the top of that orange mountain she has conquered!

That is funny how it works! None of our other dogs were ever on the furniture - we had to 'invite' them to come sit with us! We find it hilarious that these two are just as comfortable on the back of the couch as the floor, Endre Barath, Jr.!

Oh, I've given up trying to keep them off of the couches, Brian England but, walking on our tables is not acceptable!! The spray bottles of water have never been refilled - all I have to do now is act like I'm picking one of them up!

Our kitties don't mind the dogs being on the furniture as long as they are nowhere near their food, Nina Hollander, Broker!! These are the first dogs that have ever been on our furniture and it's taken some getting used to for us. I never had forbid our dogs to get on the furniture, they were just happy in their beds and on the floor. The tables, though, that's another story! 😂

Oh my gosh, they are out of control, Kathy Streib! I will say that when I even move toward that spray bottle, they jump right now!

What is embarrassing is when they decide they must be a part of the party when we have guests - and they sneak up on the serving island! Our friends always laugh at my 'horrified' reaction! LOL
