Friday Flags in Prospect CT 06712-2The center of Prospect CT is the intersection of 2 state roads. Each of the corners has a significant edifice to attract attention.Along one side of the roadway sits the town hall and it's ever-present American flag and also a flag for MIA servicemen.It has an access roadway that allows people looking to turn north on Rt 69 to not need the lights at the major intersection and just have a stop sign.Over the years, there have been all types of flowers planted there and as the area is so busy, they do not fare well. 2023 Connecticut Sales Tax Free Week It's back to school time and with that is the shopping for back-to-school clothes and supplies.Highlights: This year will be Connecticut's 23rd Sales Tax Free Week.
